Xbox One world glitch

Game had froze 3 times before I stopped playing. I logged on the day later and some of the world had entirely turned into jungle. The map also had been cleared out. Has anyone else had this?

It sounds like your world file may be corrupted. A common cause of this can be interrupting the save process.
