Before I begin my suggestion I will preface this with the fact that the cyber, contagion, and covert are not my ideas. These ideas belong to Tobbvald and Zoomo. If you don’t know what these suggestions are, here are the links to them:
So I really like these suggestions and hope they are implemented into terraria at some point. But what if instead of seeing a single set of these biomes, a world has all of them? Would it be too much? Probably, but it would also change quite a bit of how you play the game. This is the basis of this concept: a world will have all 6 biomes: the hallow, corruption, crimson, cyber, contagion, and covert. Now one last note, I do apologize for there not being any sprites or drawings, as it is not something that I excel at.
World Generation
For the purpose of this type of world, it would be a separate option. It could also coincide with redigit’s “nightmare mode” with stronger enemies but more/better drops. Each world generated this way would probably be a set size, a bit smaller or larger than the large world size. Now the world would be split into 10 parts (ignoring the ocean) in which places can be generated. The center 2 will always be the “regular” biomes; a forest or tundra (snow biome). The next 3 out to either side can be a corruption, crimson, or contagion, but there can only be one of each. The last one on either side will be a dungeon or jungle. Of course as usual some smaller biomes can spawn all between but this covers the major ones. Upon defeat of the wall of flesh, the message “The ancient spirits have awoken!” will come up and each of the remaining zones will be spawned opposite of their counterparts. As far as the biomes spreading, none of the biomes can spread over each other; crimson can’t spread over contagion nor can hallow spread over cyber. However, denizens of opposing forces will now fight each other should they encounter one another.
Items
This is where the main part of the idea is. With every biome being in the world, it wouldn’t make sense for there to be souls/cores/runes or hallowed/cyber/covert bars. So in this world we have essences and primordial bars.
Biomes
As Tobbvald had worked around the dungeon’s color schemes relating to the biomes, it would have to change in this world. In this world, the Dungeon blocks will be white on the surface, and slowly become black the further down you are.
Bosses
Zoomo had suggested having a wall of shadows in place of the wall of flesh on corruption worlds. To compliment this, a contagion world would have a wall of plagues, and this world would have a wall of entropy. (I will not elaborate on these wall of flesh alternatives as they would be relatively the same except a couple different mechanics; its mainly an aesthetic purpose.)
Tobbvald’s Necronomitron will change in this world as well. He will now have more health and will rotate between each type of “hand” phase.

I felt it would be kinda odd to have the light and dark biomes to all drop the same types of essence, so I made a bit of a complex system for this.

Now in place of hallow ore/bars, this world will have primordial ore/bars. They work exactly the same as you would expect but are based upon elements, giving the gear elemental aesthetics. These bars are made similar to how Zoomo’s bars were made: with 6 Primordial Ore and 1 Durasteel bar, which drops off of mech bosses.

Set: 15% reduced damage taken. When dealing or taking damage, you have a 40% chance to gain an earth charge. When you reach 5 earth charges Your next attack will cause an earthquake, dealing damage to all enemies around you and stunning them for 1 second.
Crown of Fire

-10% ranged damage and crit
Set: 20% chance not to consume ammo. When dealing damage with a ranged weapon you have a 25% chance to gain a fire charge, increasing your damage by 4%. When you reach 5 charges your next attack that hits will send all charges at the enemy dealing 50% damage each.
Crown of Water
-12 Primordial Bars
-5 Defense
-10% magic damage and crit
-60 max mana
Set: 25% reduced mana usage. When dealing damage with a magic weapon you have a up to a 40% chance (varies on the damage the weapon deals) to summon a globe of water, up to 3. Each globe of water will increase your mana regen by 20% and increase your defense by 3. If you gain more than 3 globes, they will go to the nearest ally and increase their health regen and defense, otherwise they will explode and grant you 5 mana.

When swinging this sword you get an air shield allowing you to avoid a single attack and increase your damage by 10% while active. This has a 15 sec internal cooldown.

In addition to Fragarach’s effect, this sword will shoot out slicing gale that will deal damage to the first enemy hit.
Chaos Blade

When swinging this sword you will gain a shield similar to Fragarach’s, but will instead explode for 150% weapon damage when you are hit (but will also deal 25% damage to you).

This sword changes the mechanic of the shield a bit. One the first swing the shield will form, but on the second swing it will launch the shield. This sword won’t have an inherent beam effect.

Like its lesser version, you can attack behind you if used quickly, but will also deal a short-ranged attack all around you.

This sword will somewhat combine the effects of the ones that create it. Swinging it will grant a shield that will absorb one attack and explode, and can be swung a second time behind you. It will also shoot a beam that will pierce up to 2 enemies.
Heaven’s Drill
-20 Primordial Bars + 1 Essence of Awakening, Dreams, and Limbo
-Same effectiveness as the Drax.
-Tooltip: A drill that was used long ago by a great warrior. Everyone’s pretty sure he didn’t pierce the heavens with it.
Axe Pick
-20 Primordial Bars + 1 Essence of Awakening, Dreams, and Limbo
-Same effectiveness as the Pickaxe Axe.
-Tooltip: Don’t say the name too fast.
Longinus (spear)
