Game Mechanics Would it be possible for those of you in the Development team to consider overhauling the storage system?

What I mean by that is, the way the current storage system works is that you Place down a chest and store your items. Which can later on lead to your items becoming cluttered and messy, which in turn means that later on organizing becomes a pain. So I was thinking that there could be 2 ways to help solve this issue.

1. You make it so its easier to tell which items fit into the same category which can help players sort their items much more easily without having to use the sort button to find out which items are in the same category through the colors that represent each item. Or you can make it so that for example if you place a piece of dirt into a chest and have some sand in your inventory, it automatically tracks which chest its suppose to sorted into. (that makes no sense, but I hope you can see where I am going with this)

2. Y'all can make a completely new way of storing items, similar to the magic storage mod (please use this one instead of the first choice, as I think it'll be alot more easier) Cause rather then just having different chests for different items, you can have a special type of storage interface that keeps all the items in one giant vault. Which separates each item into its specific category.

And example of this would be weapons which would only allow swords and whatever else the game considers to be a weapon to be shown.

Hopefully this makes some sort of sense to any of you reading this, because I find it really frustrating to have to organize my chests especially in early pre-hardmode/ early hardmode when you've finally decided to settle down and build housing for your NPC's. I've quit so many runs due to this reason (also cause I'm too lazy to sort everything)
