Seems like people use different methods of earning money

Personally I have made a farm that utilizes jungle spawn rates and the coin drops of arapaimas, coupled with a lucky coin (now a greedy ring) this produces around 5 plat per hour.

Fair enough, I didn't mean to imply your money wasn't legit, it just struck me as an extremely generous price. Especially since Master Bait is much easier to get now, I got about 150 from opening the crates I used to kick-start hardmode.
