Already deleted save data and relaunched it I can confirm that will not fix it so just make a new Xbox account that never played Terraria before and it should workSo it might just fix it… I willing to take a bullet and find out but how do I delete it properly?
I’ve seen otherwise reported here, you need to select delete everywhere.Already deleted save data and relaunched it I can confirm that will not fix it so just make a new Xbox account that never played Terraria before and it should work
nopHi @D4RK GLACIER I moved your post into this big thread. That's an interesting thought.
For others that are experiencing the sync bug, do you happen to have modded stacks (even if they were given to you by a friend).
This is not the case my friend has a ton of modded stacks (because he’s lazy) and he can get into Journeys end just fine what I can conclude is that it’s mostly accounts who played before the latest 1.3 patchcurrently our best guess is if you had modded items such as unobtainble stacks such as more then the standard stack limit of an item, something about that causes a bug and causes it to not be able to sync files, but that’s my best guess.
Also you don’t have to delete ur data you can play the game by simply creating a new profile that haven’t played terraria in 1.3 or below and you should be able to play
Hi there @ImpendingDoom. I know the slime emojis are fun, but just a friendly reminder to keep this thread on-topic. If the devs do need to look through here for more info, we want to do our best to help them browse through it quickly to make their job of fixing the bug easier.
As with all versions of the game (PC, Mobile, Console) - whatever you do with your own game is up to you. However, anything modded in your game means that a bug report won’t be valid. If you have mods installed on PC, the bug won’t be looked at unless you’re running a completely mod-free vanilla version of the game. If you’ve got modded stacks in mobile or console and submit a bug, it won’t be a valid bug.Just asking is it bad to have modded stacks? I know its not harming anyone but just in case.
this does not take into account those that have present 1.3 files and did not have the syncing issues.I have come to the conclusion as to what is causing the 1.4.0.5 or Journey's End xbox syncing files issue. Present 1.3 files are unable to sync with 1.4.0.5s update files causing a syncing issue. Switching between my main account to an account I have no previous 1.3 characters or worlds is able to move past the syncing files issue, while my main account gets stuck on the reported syncing files issue. I would suggest taking a look around applying 1.4.0.5 update files to present 1.3 files.
I’m assuming there must be, but Xbox doesn’t allow access to it like they did with Xbox 360 (or how PS allows it).unit one is there a folder for saves on xbox?
