Another true story, relating to what @zenithspeed said about the nazis: a little while back, i was supposed to do a report on one's ancestral country, so obviously i chose Germany: so i did a 12 page slideshow (as in the number of slides would fit on 12 pages) another 30 page report, prepared my visual aids, got a bunch of flashcards (just so i didn't forget) so anyway, the Big Day showed up, and so i made it to ~1911, then started doing my report in German just so that the "protectors of humanity" wouldn't get hurt by me retelling history.
