Did you know all of Europe thought the world was a plain object from which you'd fall off if you got close to its edges at one time? Yet this one guy who thought otherwise managed to prove the majority wrong - even while failing.
But you are still getting resources, which allow you to progress, therefore you are making progress, its your choice whether you chose to spam that upgrade button or not.
You aren't making progress, a machine is doing it for you.
There *is* a difference, and a very obvious one there. Still, if you choose to not play games, it's your loss - even if it's a simplistic, unchallenging browser game.

You don't really play these kinds of games.
Destroying your mouse with rapid clicks isn't considered a game.
And if it is, then a crappy one, and makes me wonder why people play it.
On that last point, we do agree. But if you're going to play such a simple-minded game, cheating/AFKing at it would only be an insult to yourself as a gamer.
