Is this a Food Wars reference?

I just hate it when people pick random words from another language with no intention of actually learning to speak all of it. It's why english is a monstrosity already.

It may be a bit of a mongrel language these days but as we adapt into a global community it seems to be the natural order of things. The English language itself has many, say Indian words, like Bungalow, Jungle and Khaki that were integrated during colonial times.

Isnt umami that one taste word? Make a better word, in english, to describe that taste

The equal word is "savory".

Why the hell are people using umami then!?

Savory is a better adjective in my opinion. My opinion changes fast with material evidence, as you see

It also doesn't help that words that sound like that bother me for some reason. The "oo" sound. Like some people are bothered by the "oist" in "moist".
