Are you talking about a specific Akuma named character? Because Akuma=Devil.

(I should have given some context here... This has no relation to Battle Cats at all, these names are the names of some of my original characters.)

(Akuma is called that because he is known as a fearsome warrior and a brutal emperor, Akuma is a living Maneki-Neko. His real name is only known by a small group of people...)

(Nekotochi is a fictional country that looks like a large island shaped like a cat's head, it is surrounded by a vast ocean where strange entities known as Umibozus wander. It borders another island country to the south, which is a tropical land where bamboo grows aplenty.)
