Mobile Breaking gravestones is laggy on a world that doesn't have many blocks in it

In my adventure map, Corman's Fun Land, I blew up the world and then started work on the adventure map. It still doesn't have that many blocks in the world.
Recently, I was making a fake dungeon, and the main threat there is dying of fall damage.
Some of the gravestones settled, and every time I broke one, there was about a half-second delay, and then a ghost spawned on screen. Why does it lag, and would there be any way to reduce said lag?
 
Which part is lagging? Ghosts don't always Spawn, and when they do, it's not always instantaneously.
Do you mean that the actual destruction of the tombstone is what's lagging?

Right after breaking the grave, the entire game lags for a half second, and then the ghost spawns right after it unfreezes.
Or it doesn't spawn afterwards, depending on whether a ghost spawns or not.
