I think making it just plain craftable feels off, but Finch Staff could certainly be easier to obtain considering you can get Abigail's Flower by doing literally nothing, and if you have a large world honestly trying to reach the Shimmer can feel like more effort (if you're not locking yourself to only summon weapons that is) than just going down to the Underground Snow to craft a Flinx Staff which is a more worthwhile endeavor anyway.
