Mobile Can anyone give me tips for a chlorophyte farm?

The Destroyer
i removed my useless RoD farm that i sacrificed half of my underground snow biome (and all of my nostalgic memories of it) for, which was made a long time ago, so i decided to replace it with something more useful; a chlorophyte farm.

i've already set up the area i've allocated for the farm (outlined in lizard bricks — at this scale it's already enough to switch to jungle biome if the corruption or hallow doesn't interfere) but i'm stuck here: how do i even make a basic chloro farm? i know it grows on mud on its own but i need a bit more information on how i can make it more effective
resources are not a problem, i have over 12000 mud blocks and a dedicated destruction world if i somehow need more, everything else should be obvious
i preferably want it to be balanced, not overly efficient (i don't need LOADS of the ore) but also not cumbersome to navigate
do i just place clumps of mud in a grid with room to move in between then or is there more to this?
