Anyway, if a player dies and a mob spawned by a statue picks up any of the dropped coins, the mob will still shimmer as normal, but doesn't drop the coins once it dies.
As I am currently in the process of testing which statues spawn things these days (and dying to a Granite Golem which is how I found this lol), I will make a list of every statue mob that does this, though I have a feeling they all do.
As for how to reproduce, I would assume, just be a dumbo and die to a statue spawned mob like myself.
Statues that don't give you your coins back:
Granite Golem
Undead Viking
Blood Zombies
Piranha
Medusa
Hoplite
Wraith
Imp
Drippler
Chest (Mimic)
Corrupt (Eater of Souls)
Eye (Demon Eye)
Bat
Bone Skeleton
Hornet
Goblin
Harpy
Jellyfish
Pigron
Shark
Unicorn
Statues that do:
Crab
Slime
Armed Zombie
Bunny (Corrupt version)
Fish (Corrupt version)
Penguin (Corrupt Version)
Wall Creeper
Skeleton
