Other Less Suggestive Female Hurt Sounds

I think this would be a decent suggestion to start out the new forum with.
I got my friend to buy Terraria, and the first thing she noted about the game is the ridiculous female damage sounds. I've always kinda disliked them too, so my suggestion is simple.
I'm asking for female hurt sounds that won't make someone's parents suspicious of a game, or in general, make someone ask "what the hell are you playing?".
I think it's generally bad that the female hurt sounds essentially stop anyone that lives with other people (especially kids with their parents) from playing the game with a female character without headphones on, without risk of someone coming in and thinking it's a really bad adult film.
 
I don't consider the sounds to be that bad... But that may be because I usually play Gaige in Borderlands 2. Dat pain/joy/both scream.

I don't think the male voices are bad in a sexual way because it mostly just sounds like a pug growling.
But the kind of gaspy, airy moans of the female hurt sounds can't have gone unnoticed by most people.
 
I think the sounds are cartoonish and silly sounding... as befits a game like Terraria. I dunno what makes people think of them as "suggestive", but hopefully if they take the time to look at what you're playing they'll realize it's a 2d pixelated video game. lol.

Fair enough of a point. I don't have as much against it as I do all of the female armors being battle bikinis, that's for sure. But that's been complained about before.
 
Someone once noted the female sounds sounds like she is having an orgasm. Please someone fix them, they are way too suggestive.
 
Seriously?

The only thing those noises "suggest" to me is that someone (a tiny, tiny, someone) is getting a beatdown. Maybe some people need to stop suggesting that their imagination is someone else's responsibility. If one's mind is so easily suggestible, perhaps exercising one's own mental discipline is in order; and if that's impossible, maybe some counseling.

Unless people routinely 'get busy' by punching and kicking each other while standing in a box full of swords...then maybe they make sounds like that; and maybe it's judgmental of me to say so, but if that's the case... WEIRD. o_O

The only way for Terraria to sound less like sex than it already does would be to reduce it to Atari-like beeps and boops, so that it's sanitized thoroughly enough for people with overactive imaginations that are ridiculously easy to lead to thoughts of sex. I sincerely doubt anyone's parents have ever come running to "find the porn" because they heard Terraria and mistook what they heard for bumping and grinding.

If that has happened...
  1. I feel sorry for the kids.
  2. Those parents are awfully paranoid.
  3. What I said before about overactive imaginations and counseling still applies.
And, one look at the screen would be enough for any rational person to say, "Nope, nothing here but the usual video game stuff."

I'm sorry, honestly; I don't mean to be harsh, but this is just ridiculous. And, as has already been stated, they're just the male sounds played at a different pitch, and I don't think those sounds are suggestive, either. There must be some easily-offended people, out there, simply horrified at hearing Alvin and The Chipmunks.
 
They're more weird-sounding than suggestive, to me. First time I heard it, I thought a dog down the street was barking.

I think it's fine the way it is. Have you ever seen females play tennis? I'm more curious to know how it went down in the recording studio. I'm sure they noticed this when they made it.
 
I'd love new hurt voices. They all are very weird! I'd like a voice that sounds like Link, but less a pitched voice... And decent female voices.
