Greetings Terrarians!

As you may recall, we teased the Terraria Chibichan minifigures in last month's State of the Game... and we said at the time that more information would be coming up in May. Well, we are very pleased to announce that the awesome first series of these minifigures are now available for preorder over on Terraria.shop! We have all of the juicy details below, so read on to learn more!

TERRARIA CHIBICHANS

Terraria Chibichans will be released as series of 12 minifigures at a time, with one Rare figure (so, 13 total in each Series). Each figure is up to 3" tall and made of vinyl, with a unique and consistent art style that helps to look great together. You can head to the preorder page by clicking any image in this post or via the link below:

TERRARIA CHIBICANS WAVE ONE PREORDERS

These will be sold in blind box format - online for now, and hopefully at retailers in the future. We are also offering the ability to purchase the entire set of 12 at once, to allow fans to ensure that they can get them all if they want to with no repeats. The only exception is the Rare Chaser Figure - for this set, that is the Gold Goldfish - though anyone purchasing the set of 12 does have a 1/3 chance that their Goldfish will be Gold!

All that said, what's the lineup for the first wave of figures?

PREORDERS & TIMELINES

We expect that these will ship out to customers sometime in September 2023. After that point, they will remain available on Terraria.shop moving forward.

All pre-orders will receive a free Gold Bunny minifigure (one per order) - these will be exclusive to the pre-order period as a thank you to the fans that pre-order any minifigures.

Look pretty nice, though some of the faces are a bit unsettling. The monsters and masked ones do look great. I’ll have to see if I can squeeze them into my budget. At least these are a solid bit cheaper than the Kickstarter (whatever did happen to them?).

Is there a list of all of the figures? I haven’t actively played Terraria in a while, so I’m not sure who/what some of them are.

The list is in the post via picture above.

Would love to hear feedback on what could be improved in your opinion. :)

The KS figures all shipped out earlier - a while back - had some box issues and a few color problems that the company involved is fixing moving forward.

To me they don't look Terraria-like. They are not faithful to the looks of the actual characters and features of the game. And they probably are overvalued, so that means I'm not going to order one of those. I saw other merch from this game with abusive prices, so I will keep just watching them. 🤷‍♂️

Just curious - what merch do you feel had “abusive prices”? We try our best to price things as low as possible, so I want to deal with anything that falls out of sync with that idea.

What do you find not faithful (serious question)?

What would you estimate a fair value (currently they are $7.99)?

Are there shipments to Latin America? Is there any country that they can not send?

Would encourage you to reach out to the folks at Terraria.shop to ask, but I think they ship to most countries (though costs may vary of course).

What do you mean by non terraria like? They seem pretty faithful to the base game to me.

First, but not all, the Terraria Graphic novel book is really overvalued, considering that anyone out of the USA like me has not only to pay a tax for the shipping, but also account for the dollar quotation that is absurd for the country I'm living on (Brazil), also, these same two thing apply to all other things I'd like to buy, but can't with this system. Like those minifures by Skyland arts or those (that I know, they were limited) Mini-biome pieces by Animegami, too overvalued. I can't pay for this.

But don't worry, if everything is going ok with the said companies, specially with Re-logic, I'm also ok thanks 😅

Most of the art made for blouses, t-shirts, sweaters, etc is not so Terraria like to me, not in my way of seeing the game. Also, for this specific case, i think the only most faithful two are the goldfish and the echanted sword in the stone. The others are 'meh'. They just don't catch my interest.

I don't really know, maybe that's a good price, I actually didn't take a look at the price when I made the first comment. Tat's why I said "they probably are overvalued", with emphasis on "probably".

How much does shipping cost for you? I think the collectibles are valued reasonably for this kind of merchandise. I understand that having to buy things from different countries can complicate an item’s total value (speaking from experience buying stuff from Switzerland) but I think the collectibles themselves are fine.

About time!

I really love these, and have to say that it's VERY good that you can buy them all in one go, since just buying one and hoping to get the one you want is nonsense.
I see this with other mini figures brands as well, and I simply don't buy them. In this case you could end up with 5 enchanted swords (the least interesting of the bunch imo) if you're unlucky, before you get the one that you want. It's a terrible practice, gambling, basically forcing kids to spend more of their limited budget to get the one they want.

I'm not sure if I'll go for these though. Thanks to ridiculous customs costs here, one might end up paying a lot more than they bargained for.
I really wish there'd be stores in the EU for stuff like this. If only the UK government wouldn't have been so utterly stupid to leave the EU. *cough*

the only thing that is not faithful to the original is the slime with a bunny mask on umbrella being green instead of being gray

Eh fair.
Mainly the one that im not a fan of is the Zombie.
I'm alright with the others though.

I don't know the prices now, but at the time I can asure they were really high.
