Betsy's wings don't allow you to move freely in liquids though, I think it is like a better version of the vortex booster instead

I don't know, I tried to think of something but couldn't come up with anything better than the stuff in my first reply. Alchemy tables would be nice, they are a limited resource at the moment. Maybe some kind of wormhole potion that allows the player to teleport to other NPCs or valid houses...

Even without using the staff I think you have to have it in order to get tiki armor, which is the best summoner armor until stardust armor is available, and the hercules beetle, which is one of the best summoner accessories and also can be used to make what is arguably the best summoner accessory.

The same way the lifeforce potion functions if your at 400 or 100 health? It would just take 20% longer for the golden hearts to be lost with a life force potion. Unless your colorblind this change shouldn't effect you at all, even if you are there are always numbers to look at with the...

I don't see the difference, wouldn't that just add even more effects to your melee attacks?

Personally I think such an item would be better if it was a consumable, such as a potion, just because it is a little unbalanced otherwise

I hate to say this but that is sort of already a feature in the game, by using the imbue potions you can add those effects to any melee weapon
