How come when I kill things they instantly respawn with a tiny bit off health? This infinitely repeats and I can't kill mobs.

Does anyone else have an issue where they are hosting the server for multiplayer and they lag ONLY around other players? I move away from them and my fps go back up to 120. Near others, my fps is at 55.
