I'm playing on the new Nintendo 3ds. Wheneverr I equip a consumable like the crystal heart or mana crystals, it immediately disappears when I exit the inventory screen. Does anyone know what to do?

Oh, it happens eventually every time now. it's killed any desire to even boot it up.

Currently my game force closes and then my 3ds says it needs to restart. No other game has caused this, hope the fix is included in the patch.
