did all of that and it works now. thanks! but actually i just deleted config file, opened terraria, and then joined a friend and it works perfectly now

thanks for the help, but i tried all of these solutions but none of them worked...

so my terraria will not launch, it runs for a couple seconds then stops, it doesnt even open a window before it shuts down. i tried many things to fix it, watched many tutorials but nothing was fixing it until i was messing around with the files and deleted the config.json file in...
