Great, if small, idea. But may I suggest a name change to something like "Blood's Martyr"? I think it would be a nice parallel to the Night's Edge.

I'll take Crimson over Corruption any day. Crimson has better music, weapons, and creep factor.

Support. I think it would also be interesting to have some almost ... boss like upgrades from some of the most recognizable mobs from the biomes. So, for example, a rare boss for Crimson, which could be a heavily upgraded Face Monster with special abilities, and the same with the Corruption's...
