I was recently trying to start a terraria series, and I was using shadowplay since obs lags me and shadowplay has 4k. When I was trying to record with shadowplay, this happened. any fixes?

So me and my cousin have started a playthrough of terraria, and recently a bug has occurred where when he tries to join me via steam, ip, etc. it just brings him to the joining/connecting screen and no matter how long he waits, it just keeps him there and doesn't let him join. pls fix
