I know, right? you can spend five minutes in the Ice or Cavern areas and then be drowning in Amaroks and Hel-Fires. <->

Eh.. it's a 50-50 tossup really. I mean, you can get a Hel-Fire right after killing the Wall of Flesh.
then again, it's easy to have your inventory stuffed with Krakens aswell..
Thinking about it, the Kraken is basically a Fishron Yo-yo.

Also Amarok has more damage and a longer duration :d
And less knockback means more hits!
