*Sigh* I was kind of hoping to report that... but apparently I can not log into the Steam site. Get the feeling I used my alternate email for my Steam account.

Feels as though it is one of those things where you have to threaten to sue (and be able to back it up) to get a company to do something. Even Valve has their shortcomings...

Plagiarists have always existed, and "big" sites have always been as inept at dealing with them. Always sad to see youngsters that think stealing ideas and calling them their own is acceptable.

There was this very old Sailor Moon story (1993 I think) which nobody knows nowadays. I saw one with the same exact title in ff.net, and, as expected, it was just a copy-paste. But then I saw a reviewing at the plagiarist about how they'd stolen their fic, which was another copy-paste from a few years earlier. "Heh."
