Yeah I kinda figured that first I was wondering where are the eyes and then I went down trying to lure it out but it never came(I did see some hungry though eventually the Tongue dragged me under the map after I finally gave up because all I could do was wait for me to die as you can't leave underworld )

I think that happens if you are too high up or too low.
Try it again, but like, midway.
The WOF spawning is weird.

Its even worse on console got that version back on sale some time ago it randomly spawns in either direction when summoned really stupidly implemented. PC is done so much better

Preformed a few more tests each from the same height results were normal spawn quickly killed, normal spawn quickly killed, glitch spawned died horribly 0% chance of victory

nothing different done in each test...

sigh 1.3.0.8 is a buggy piece of **** yesterday I got killed by a Medusa that was in a room above me,today the WOF is glitching the hell out. and several enemies banners are glitched so they can't reliably drop Devourer, Crawltepede pretty much any worm enemy but especially those... I wish Relogic would patch the version...

Well he banner issue is a known bug that hasn't been addressed and Medusa are a bit wierd sometimes where I think i should be pertified I don't other times where I don't have line of sight I get petrified. Never had the WOF do this before though...
