Most mods have a poster ore of sorts. Negadium and Thorium have such names obviously because of their main ores.

Except for the 3-5 letters, that's how to make element names as well.

But let's be honest. Making a fictional element/ore and having it end on the suffixes "nium" or "ium" is a much less lazy way to name your mod than just naming it after your username or over a placeholder name.

I'll also point out adding part of the game's name to the mod's name, such as "craft" at the end of the name of every Minecraft mod ever, or Terrariastuck, which was the name of my homestuck mod, being essentially a double killer on the topic.
