I'm fairly sure it can be, but stress is cause for many issues as well. It can be a placeholder cause for many things. Has anything different happen prior to that? Tracking down possible causes help when treating illnesses.

I suspect it may be due to an acid burn injury I had from a while back while accidentally whiffing sulphuric acid smoke. After that one of my nostrils have been extra sensitive so that just sneezing may cause bleeding that keeps on going for like 10 whole minutes and may repeat if I'm not careful when cleaning.
