You may want Tshock to enable sererside characters, people like to cheat on normal modes, think about how much they'd cheat on expert hardcore.

ofc ourse serverside is up. and that's a very softcore way to look at it. a hardcore player wont cheat because they know they will get caught. we actually die and drop everything. so yeah. cant just sneak one in.

I've pulled it off before, I guess that's what you get for sneaking in a solar eruption and using it when nobody is near by, you just won't die alone.

solar eruption? lol what a terrible choice. daybreak would be a far better idea as its silent. the server is ssc anyways not like it would matter tho.. everyone ive ever played with just dies. a lot. no matter what gear they have..

try dealing with spiders through a wall with daybreak.
