How do you post pictures on status updates?

[IMG ] (no space) then the image link.

It didn't work. But I did open the image in a new tab did that mess it up?

There is an option (if on Google Images) that says view original image. Click that and use that link.

I didn't see view original image. Also i'm using a kindle so I don't know if that makes a difference.
