Molten Furies can serve you well until post-Mech bosses, and can be equally powerful as some of the ore repeaters. After that you may want to upgrade to the Chlorophyte Shotbow, which is still terribly underrated considering it's crafted using only Chlorophyte bars and the stereotype that weapons with more complex crafting trees do more damage.

when i was playing as a female archer character called marina that i made with an gypsy robe and a seashell hairpin, she used the molten fury in the hardmode goblin invasion and it lasted very well agaisnt the goblin summoner
