Why would light updating slowly make you die?

It make the game run at 3-5 fps wich kinda make thing really hard

Do you know what's in your computer? I only had that issue when I was using an absolutely terrible laptop.

well, eigth core AMD FX 8300, 8GB of ram and 750 GTX Nvidia

the 750, while capable for something like Terraria, is probably a wee bit outdated (jk, alot out of date) Now the FX 8300, Terraria definitely isn't going to use 8 cores, even if you have multicore lighting on the max it would need is 2, the problem with the FX line is that (cont.)

way it was built makes it that even at 5.0 Ghz it's so... slow... If you have money for any sort of upgrade, please, go with Ryzen, the 8 gb of RAM is quite capable, though, an upgrade would require you to upgrade it to DDR4, though I'm sure you could sell all of those components for a good price. (I'd sell that seprately, you get more that way) Anyway, sorry for that wall of text.
