Is this what technology is doing to us?

I suppose it is a good thing when the class is quiet, so there won't be loud talking to disrupt the lesson.
But are the people in your class quiet because they're on their phones? Because if so, then , that teacher just really doesn't care.

Everyone's just sitting there awkwardly. Some people are on their phones, but most of us are just kinda... there. Like everyone's scared or something.
