The ammo was going to be regular stone but I was unable to do that decided it would be best to create a new ammo crafted from stone

Well, at least it may has more range than the staff of earth...

yeah you would have to do some weird stuff for stone to be used as ammo since it places blocks when 'consumed'. You would probably have to do a lot of manually work to get the gun to consume stone.

It would probably cause more problems than it'll fix, so it's best to just leave it be, 333 stone blocks gives you 111 "Mini Boulders" (Yeah I'm really creative with names) which are the ammo used for this gun, and it's purchased from the Demolitionist post EoW/BoC if you have any mini boulders in your inventory.

maybye make it a magic weapon instead

I wanted to add a weapon that you can use all of your excess stone on, and I also planned to add a Hardmode one as well.
