Clay is a very normal name for a mudwing because different tribes have themed names.
Like for sandwings it could be:
Dune, Cactus, scorpion, blaze, palm, etc. etc. Things you'd find in the desert or things that are typically hot.
Mudwings are named after swamps and marshes.
Marsh, reed, cattail, pheasant, etc. etc.
