Pillars: stand at the edge of the pillar, dive in to spawn enemies, dive back out, rinse and repeat until the shield is down. Then snipe the pillar with long range weapons like inferno fork
Moon lord: literally prepare everything you possibly can. Either use a world-wide asphalt road, UFO mount, or Cute fishron (if expert) with bubbles containing honey. Try to kill all three eyes at the same time.
