Homeschooling is nice. Minimal social interaction. Not that I've ever gone to a public school, so I can't say if it's better or not lol.

So I’d have to be stuck at home with none of my friends to talk to? I’d cry.

Depends on the type.
There’s A). Quarantine homeschooling means you have to sit on your ass for 8 hours a day sitting through zoom meets with your camera and mic off, not being mentioned once
Or B). Regular Homeschooling where you sit down with a parent as they help you through relatively easy work, establishing a good co-op skillset

depends on where you live.here in CA,homeschooling means an unlimited amount of homework.also, many homeschooled students don't have a lot of freinds.the thing I hate about homeschooling is minimal interaction itself

I mean b) if your student does not want to do homework,it is VERY hard especially when you get tons upon piles of homework.no social interaction at all,and don't even talk to me about becoming friends with your parents.

Well, my nephew (who I have to take care of for some reason) loves it. He can just pull up google and a calculator and he’s finished in an hour. Then he just watches meme compilations until I realize he’s finished

I'm only in homeschool cause my parents moved to another country for work, and I'm crap at the language so I don't go to the schools here. Plus the teachers go on strike a lot so my parent's don't want me in there anyway. But despite living 8 hours by car away from any friends I do manage to have a few somehow, so I'm grateful for that.

well, someone I know,is in kindergarten,he pretty much made friends with literally every kid he came across, which meant that he was very social, come this year,he has only seen one of his friends which made him pretty sad.so one size doesn't fit all, plus he tries and does what ever he can to avoid hw.

plus the district he's applied in for homeschooling gives him an abnormal amount of hw.on he first day of virtual school this year,he wasn't homeschooled yet,and lterally once the day was done,he got ELEVEN assignements.I repeat ELEVEN ASSIGNMENTS ON THE FIRST DAY OF SCHOOL.

Yeah. Since I rarely see people, I'm decent at becoming friends with them, which means I have a normal amount of friends. Discord is my main way of socializing lol. I remember before any of my friends we're allowed to get instant messaging apps because we were too young, I made a scratch messaging project with cloud variables, which was fun.
