I came across this series in a bookstore yesterday. I understand why they localized the title. "Bisque doll: Fall in love with that dress up doll" does not seem likely to be a well thought of title in English speaking countries.
The first volume was passable, its execution had no glaring errors.
Personally, I find that form of material to be entirely unnecessary, and generally detestable regardless of the stated age of the characters. It simply does not contribute to the story in a meaningful way in most cases. I understand however, that it is popular "hook."
Also, as a fictional story, it is to be expected that boundaries will be relaxed, and rightly so. If you wish for the story to mean something, then this will happen to some extent, however great or small. If it will give context or meaning to the plot then I am for it. Otherwise, I prefer it to be excluded.
