I knew some people that wore braces, though I was never required to do so myself.
They would not have helped in my case as my jaw is rather narrow. So narrow in fact, that were I to attempt straightening my teeth, it would require both completely removing teeth, and breaking my jaw.
...Complete "overkill" to put two teeth inline with the rest.

Braces are a pain! Glad they can tear the torture device of wire and plastic out of your mouth, AAA.
