What are the exact requirements for a cc entry? Does it have to be terraria related ?

Yes. Either an in game build, a sprite for the game, some fanart of the game, an in game build, or some Terraria related literature.

But I'm no good at terraria related things GAH dammit lol

CC has an overwhelmingly large amount of entries.

I'll eventually get through all of them, but I'm guessing a saturday or friday release.
