or, yaknow, use an OS that can run games.

I have windows 8.1 and I run terraria like a charm, and a server at the same time.

I want to use windows 8.1, not an outdated interface. Terraria is practically unplayable due to the FPS fluctuation. How does your terraria run well, pizza?

it runs like all my other games, super fast and no lag, never any lag at all, it might not be windows 8.1 its proabbly your pc being , sorry to say.

I don't think so. I have decent specs (except the graphics card): AMD FX 8350 8GB 2133MHz Corsair RAM 1TB WD HDD Nvidia GeForce GT 730. My PC is more than capable at running Terraria. I get 60fps sometimes but when I go underground and come back up the frames drop to 30 suddenly. I have no issue running other games. Minecraft runs at 200 easily, so I don't think it is my PC but it is 8.1
