I've been trying to catch this moose on steroids and it's taken me three resets. I'm not going to use my Master Ball on anything but Mew, or something equally fidgety.

Articuno because legendary, flying and not weak to ground or fighting. Also I got an extra Master Ball in the GTS so I used it on Latias because throwing ultra balls at it while not damaging it takes to much time.

Also you should use a high-level Pokemon with Hold Back or False Swipe, a lower-leveled Pokemon with moves that will do damage but won't KO it, and some other Pokemon with high HP, Defense, and Sp Defense. Then when it's at 1 HP after using False Swipe/Hold Back throw Ultra Balls at it or Dusk balls if it's at night.

Mew isn't in ORAS. Save your Master Ball for that off chance shiny. I used mine when I soft reset for shiny Reshiram.

Can it be put to sleep?
