It's raining and sort of grey in North West England but I think British people would complain about the weather no matter what its like.

In the north-eastern part of the US, people always complain about the whether. It's always too hot or too cold, too dry or too rainy, etc. Personally, I think the varied weather throughout the year keeps the area from being boring weather-wise.
