Maybe reinstall it? If that doesn't work, maybe try an older version of Gimp.

Tried an uninstall-reinstall.
First thing to always try. It's the program version of "turning off then back on again".
I'll try the other thing when I'm not tired out my mind.

Maybe restart your computer? Seems to work on stuff for me. Mouse or keyboard not working? Restart. App not loading? Restart.
