Try equipping it as vanity over your wings?

it doesn't work even with the hoverboard. capes doesn't work either

I think you need to have the wings hidden, the cape on a slot where it's showing.

it doesn't work, wings nullify any related item (cloaks, capes) except other wings, even when not flying, when I equip things like fire gauntlet next to the wing vanity slot, both (wings, and gauntlet) are shown.
I'll use bat wings as vanity, while I figure out a way...thanks

I managed to get a cape to show up over my wings.
