Hmm... I'm a second trumpet too :O Yeah, people do seem to be absent for lots of band stuff though. One trumpet person didn't even play in our part of the concert due to him getting there really late.

I think the person had a vacation, had to visit family and then had to get their tonsils... Burned out, apparently o.o

That doesn't sound good... Could you have put them out?

I dunno, I asked why and apparently burning is easier than cutting..?

Well, sounds a lot more dangerous considering there is a lot of mucus back there that could have lit on fire.

We had to do keyboard stuff in Multimedia even though I type faster than most people and only use about 4 fingers XD

I only recently learned to touch type, lol (6-8 months ago???)
Heh, so do I. I type at about 40 WPM, and the only person who types quicker has double vision problems and needs to use zoom to see clearly. (He types at ~56 WPM)

I don't really ever think about it to be honest. It feels weird thinking about it for some reason... I do look down occasionally though, mainly for c'es and x'es.

I just tend to swap them up. Not good... Not good at all...
