As a person who likes looking at cute things, I am filled with disappointment at the sight of these horribly simplistic, vaguely humanoid shapes that people are using to represent themselves.

What can I say? I'm opinionated. Dansen was cute, this is not.

I hate this trend so much

It's a slowed down 2 frame image with (usually) no more than 2 colors and a single expression, which is happiness.
What is there to like?
