Well, it's not that it's the DPS that's the issue (In fact, it's very far away from the fact to even begin with)
The issue is if you're using Summons alongside anything else, especially Magic.
You're not wasting any mana for magic items, so it's just free summons for those whom would use mana...
If you want to have ANY change towards Summon Weapons, either cut the mana cost in half, or have higher-tier armors offer a set effect where Summon weapons cost no mana.
I've seen it before with ExpandedSentries having the same purpose for the Engie Armor, so A summoner armor with that set...
Will there be an "Exact" Upgrade?
"Unity" - increases Max Minion/Sentry amount, and increases Summon damage scaling with Chaos
"Understanding" - increases EGO damage scaling with Mind (Exclusive to AlchemistNPC)
"Life" - increases duration of summoned Spirits from staffs, seed amounts...

Allow summons to ignore immunity frames dealt by ranged weapons. I sent this towards the Piercing Projectiles mod, and what with the various weapons, I feel it should fit here as well
