PC Bait isn't Spawning

Hello,

I played on xbox for about a year before I switched to PC. I'm having a problem with bait spawning. The only bait I ever see in my world is scorpions, and nothing I tried could help bait spawn including making a new world and character and re-downloading the game.

This is my first time posting on the forum so sorry if this wasn't the proper format.
 
I'd recommend visiting the jungle or creating your own strip of jungle anywhere to cut down the jungle bushes. They will commonly drop bait bugs such as sluggies that you can use for bait.
