PC can`t even open

me friend is trying to play TERRARIA, but i doesn`t even open, can someone help?

When they launch TerrariaServer.exe what does the message say? Could you have them screenshot it for me?

If you cannot locate the file, you can (on windows) locate it at

64 bit:

C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Terraria

32 bit:
C:\Program Files\Steam\steamapps\common\Terraria

Just a quick correction here on all modern versions of Windows, Program Files holds 64 bit applications by default and Program Files x86 holds 32 bit applications.

Furthermore steam (and Terraria on Windows for that matter) is a 32 bit application exclusively and since all other games by default install themselves under a sub-directory of Steams base folder your steam paths by default will be C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\GAMENAMEHERE

So the path to Terraria's default install directory will be
C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Terraria
