I rather like the look of crates, and I wish we could use them as storage objects, instead of losing the crates whenever we take the loot inside, and if we forgo the loot, only able to use them as decorations anyway.
You could either make it so that opening a fished crate drops an empty crate that can be used as a storage object, or make storage crates craftable.
