Don’t know how to use a texture pack. Can somebody help?

Hey guys. I’ve been trying but my small brain can’t figure out how to activate/use a texture pack. The only thing I know is that you have to do something with files. If somebody could help me with this that would be greatly appreciated!

go into C:\Users\Documents\My Games\Terraria\ResourcePacks and copy your texture pack into the folder open terraria and it should work.

If you have Terraria on Steam, then I know a way to activate .zip texture files. First, go to Documents > My Games > Terraria > Resource Packs. Then create a folder with the title of the texture pack (it doesn’t have to be the name of the texture pack itself, but it will make it easier to find,) Go to your downloads where you downloaded that .zip file for the texture pack, then extract it to the folder you created.

Most texture packs on this forum have a download at the bottom of the first post or in a spoiler named download.
You can just look through Work in Progress or Finished for something you like, and download it from the respective sites.
